Contract or perm Entity Review Officer, Guernsey

Our client, a leading provider of fiduciary and corporate services, is seeking an Entity Review Officer to join their dynamic team. The role focuses on undertaking entity reviews within a high-quality and independent environment, servicing HNW/UHNW multi-jurisdictional private clients. The position offers flexibility, with consideration for longer contracts or permanent arrangements, ideally full-time but reduced hours may also be considered. Key responsibilities: • Conducting periodic annual/biennial reviews, including reviews of new entities within six months of onboarding. • Utilizing review systems to assess adherence to policies and procedures for client entities. • Identifying and documenting any errors, omissions, or breaches of applicable laws or company policies. • Highlighting significant issues to Directors and assisting in the rectification of identified failings. • Supporting tasks aligned with an internal audit function, including compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, and adherence to best practices. • Assisting in the development of policies, procedures, and checklists. • Conducting source of wealth and funds verification. The successful candidate will have: • Professional qualifications (ICSA or STEP) with relevant fiduciary sector experience. • Strong understanding of Trust and Company laws, governance, and applicable regulations, particularly the GFSC Handbook. • Familiarity with bookkeeping and accounting principles. • Analytical skills to identify risks (business, legal, financial, taxation, and regulatory). • Effective and concise communication skills. • Experience administering client portfolios and performing entity reviews.
