Overview:
The Golf, Events, and Hospitality Assistant is an ambassador of La Grande Mare's distinctive service culture. You will support the Director of Performance and the F&B Manager in delivering an excellent golf and hospitality experience.
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and talented individual to join our team in a multifaceted role. You will assist in our food, beverage, and retail areas. You will support our golf operations team and assist in future event planning at the Golf Performance Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver extraordinary service
• Assist the golf team in providing a welcoming experience to all golfers.
•Assisting the F&B team in providing quality experience and hospitality.
- Operational golf excellence
•Manage range and lesson bookings, correspondence, and payments using our POS system.
•Maintain teaching equipment, technology, and supplies to premium standards.
•Assist with picking and cleaning range balls
•Ensure a client- first approach at every touchpoint to elevate experience across the team.
- Operational hospitality excellence
• Provide a warm and welcoming environment to guests
•Process customer orders with our POS system
•Prepare and serve hot and cold food and beverages
•Ensure the café area is clean, presentable, and stocked
•Support the team for private events
Qualifications, skills, attributes, & experience
•Impeccable customer service skills
•Previous experience within the hospitality industry
•Perform excellent barista services
•High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
•Well organised
•An interest or experience in golf
•Experience working with the public in a service environment.

Compensation & benefits summary
•Salary: £25,250 - £30,000 relating to experience.
•28 days' holiday (including public holidays), rising with service.
