Senior Insurance Manager

A senior leadership role within a global insurance organisation, delivering captive and alternative risk solutions while leading client service teams, managing key relationships and contributing to business growth. Location Guernsey , Channel Islands Duties for this role include, but are not limited to: Managing a portfolio of captive clients, ensuring delivery of high-quality service across the full annual cycle. Acting as Client Executive, leading service teams and maintaining strong client relationships. Advising clients on risk financing strategies and insurance structures. Ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements across all client structures. Leading, mentoring and developing team members, supporting succession planning. Contributing to strategic planning and supporting business objectives at both local and group level. Supporting business development initiatives, including proposals, presentations and onboarding of new clients. Managing operational performance, budgets and service delivery standards. Providing technical guidance on insurance matters, including complex wordings and structures. Promoting captive solutions internally and externally and supporting talent development within the business. Skills / Qualifications The ideal candidate will be an experienced (re)insurance professional with strong technical knowledge of the insurance and reinsurance industry. They will hold, or be working towards, an ACII qualification (or equivalent) and have proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Experience within the captive insurance sector is highly desirable, along with a strong client-focused approach and a track record of delivering service excellence. The successful individual will demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills, commercial awareness and the ability to operate effectively within a global organisation.
