Applications and Development Analyst, Guernsey

Our client is a well-established financial services provider offering fiduciary and corporate services to a diverse client base. The organisation has a strong focus on operational efficiency, technology and continuous improvement, with systems playing a key role in supporting its growth and service delivery. Role This role is responsible for supporting the development and optimisation of internal systems, with a particular focus on document management and workflow automation. The successful candidate will work closely with the business to enhance processes, improve efficiency and ensure systems are effectively integrated across the organisation. Key responsibilities • Develop and maintain document management processes within Laserfiche • Build and maintain dashboards to support management information and reporting • Develop workflows to automate manual processes and improve efficiency • Maintain and enhance existing Laserfiche processes and workflows • Support integration between systems including Acumen, MeshID and other platforms • Provide technical support for data feeds, interfaces and system integrations • Assist with the automation of processes in line with business objectives • Work closely with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions Person specification • Experience working within a financial services environment • Strong experience with Laserfiche or similar document management systems (essential) • Experience with SQL or programming / development tools • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across the business • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to improving processes • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills What’s in it for you? • Opportunity to join a forward-thinking financial services organisation • Exposure to systems development and process improvement initiatives • Collaborative working environment with a focus on innovation • Opportunity to develop technical and business-facing skills How to apply / more information
