Service Area: Community Health and Social Care - Home Help and Shopping Service Salary Grade: PSE Grade C Salary Range: £ 16.5766 - £ 17.1376 per hour Working Arrangements: Part Time - 17.5 hours per week About the Role: The States of Guernsey is looking for a caring, reliable and community-minded individual to join our Home Help and Shopping Service. In this rewarding role, you'll support island residents with essential domestic and shopping tasks, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. What You'll Do Assisting with household tasks and light domestic duties Supporting people with shopping and everyday errands Providing practical help that enables individuals to stay in their own homes Building positive relationships with service users and offering valued social interaction We're seeking people who are: Compassionate and dependable Organised and self-motivated Comfortable working independently in the community Passionate about helping others maintain their independence A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
