Legal Our client is seeking a talented Paralegal to join their General Counsel Team. This full-time position presents an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of best-in-class legal services across non-regulated entities within the organisation. The role encompasses crucial responsibilities such as onboarding third-party suppliers, performing contract reviews from both legal and regulatory perspectives, managing Non-Disclosure Agreements, Data Protection Agreements, and conducting due diligence checks. Assist on projects led by the Head of Legal and Senior Legal Counsel, developing protocols and employing technology for client engagement letters, panel terms, and third-party supplier contracts Support the General Counsel team by addressing service-related queries under the guidance of senior legal personnel Complete risk and governance questionnaires and other due diligence documentation as requested by suppliers, intermediaries, and clients Maintain internal precedent banks for preferred legal contractual clauses and third-party stakeholder governance Review and uphold a database of panel and special terms with clients while managing the internal supplier contract register Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer to review data processing agreements and respond to ad hoc data protection queries Ensure compliance with the requirements of the relevant bar counsel or law society in each of the organisation's locations, in partnership with the Risk & Compliance team
Job Requirements:
Relevant legal qualification and experience in a similar role within a legal environment Paralegal experience (or similar) within a law firm or in-house department is advantageous Must hold 'Entitled or Entitled to Work' status in Jersey, Channel Islands Strong team player who follows direction effectively while managing their own workload and deadlines Pragmatic risk management mindset with the ability to build strong internal relationships Confidence to approach colleagues and seek clarification when needed Excellent prioritisation skills, with the ability to balance competing demands
