Audit Our client is seeking an Audit Senior to play a pivotal role in the delivery of high-quality audits of financial statements and other assurance engagements. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead external audit assignments, from planning through to completion, while working under the guidance of the Audit Director and Manager. Success in this role will not only drive compliance with IFRS and relevant auditing standards but will also contribute to the strengthening of client relationships through effective communication and robust audit strategies. Job Duties:

Lead external audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, managing the entire audit process. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop tailored audit strategies to mitigate identified risks. Evaluate clients’ internal controls, identifying weaknesses and recommending improvements. Ensure audits comply with IFRS, GAAP, and applicable auditing standards. Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial statements. Produce detailed and accurate audit files and working papers. Draft comprehensive audit reports, encapsulating findings and actionable recommendations. Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing their queries and providing professional guidance. Supervise and mentor junior auditors and associates, reviewing their work to ensure high-quality delivery. Support managers and partners in client meetings and business development initiatives. Stay abreast of regulatory changes, accounting standards, and best practice audit methodologies. Manage multiple priorities effectively to meet crucial deadlines. Analyse audit findings and compile clear, concise reports for management and stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

Qualified Accountant (through a recognised professional body) or holding a relevant functional qualification. Evidence of continuous professional development in the field. Strong client focus and commitment to delivering a quality service. Ability to follow procedures while being innovative and identifying opportunities. Excellent collaborative, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
