This role supports a busy multi-company finance function, covering bookkeeping, daily bank reconciliations, supplier statement checks, aged payables reporting, debtor management, and monitoring job profitability. Responsibilities include processing purchase orders, preparing weekly reports, supporting supplier payments, handling intercompany invoicing, and maintaining accurate stock records. The position also involves overseeing payroll administration—checking timesheets, verifying overtime and sickness records, reviewing monthly payroll, and maintaining payroll data. The role requires updating and enforcing processes and workflows, managing monthly and year-end stock takes, and becoming proficient in Simpro to support colleagues, maintain SOPs, and help develop future efficiencies. Candidates should have at least five years’ experience in a similar role and be part-qualified or experienced in bookkeeping, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
