This role involves protecting the organisation’s systems and networks by monitoring activity, detecting threats, and responding to security incidents. The Cyber Security Analyst investigates alerts, conducts vulnerability assessments, supports incident response, and helps restore systems. Responsibilities include researching emerging threats, testing security tools, maintaining security controls, managing identity and access monitoring, supporting audits, maintaining the risk register, and contributing to cyber-risk reporting. Candidates should have at least three years’ hands-on experience with incident response, SIEM tools, security technologies, and cloud environments such as Azure and Microsoft 365. Relevant certifications and a cyber security-related degree are desirable. The position may require occasional travel.
