Guernsey Weather Fox

Seven day Guernsey weather forecast for 21 July 2026

Tuesday and Wednesday

Weather

Super sunny both days, although there is the slight chance of some low cloud and mist patches on Wednesday (mainly in the morning). Winds will be NE’ly light force 2 on Tuesday and similarly light W’ly on Wednesday. Such light breezes being barely noticeable really, meaning that the air will feel lovely and warm, even though the temperatures will only climb very slowly… the Tuesday max being 22°C and the Wednesday max being 23-24°C. Both nights pretty chilly though, with min temps of 13°C.

Surf and the Water

Flat west-coast surf, but more great swimming conditions all round. Likewise lovely for kayaking and paddle-boarding. Tides will be high at lunchtime (7.6m Tuesday and 7.1m Wednesday). Lows will be soon after dawn and then again at dinnertime.

Thursday and Friday

Weather

Maybe just a little cloudier than the previous days, with a slightly greater risk of mist patches too. Overall however, it’s still going to be mostly sunny and warm, with just light force 2 E’ly breezes and temperatures climbing to around 25°C in the afternoons, before falling back to roughly 16°C in the night time.

Surf and the Water

Flat west-coast surf, but more great swimming conditions all round. Likewise lovely for kayaking and paddle-boarding. Tides will be high in the early afternoons (6.7m Thursday and 6.6m Friday). Lows will be at breakfast time and then again around dusk.

The Weekend

Weather

It looks like we will finally see a change from these almost cloudless skies… Saturday being increasingly cloudy but dry, then Sunday having a rainy morning but a cloudy afternoon. Winds will be force 3 to 4 NW’ly on Saturday, then force 4 to 5 W’ly on Sunday, all leading to a steady temperature decline and a relatively chilly feeling… 21-22°C for the Saturday max, then 20-21°C for the Sunday max.

Surf and the Water

These winds certainly won’t make for top quality surf, but there should at least be something rideable on Sunday (1-3 feet and choppy). As for swimming, the south coast will be nice on Saturday and the east coast will be nice on both days. Meanwhile, up on the north and west coasts, things should gradually improve for kitesurfers and windsurfers too. Tides will be low in the late mornings and high in the late afternoons (6.9m Saturday and 7.3m Sunday).

The next forecast update will be on Friday or Saturday…
